These Terms govern the MiloJulo app, milojulo.com, early-access registration, web authentication, profile creation, posting and related services.
1. Your agreement with MiloJulo
By creating an account or using MiloJulo, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the service.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract.
- You may not use MiloJulo if your account was permanently removed, unless MiloJulo gives written permission.
- Each account must be operated by one person, must not be sold or transferred, and must not be used to evade a restriction or ban.
- You are responsible for keeping access to your phone, Google account or Apple account secure and for activity carried out through your MiloJulo account.
- Profile claims about your identity, age, occupation, organisation, college, qualifications, skills and intentions must be honest and not misleading.
What signup confirms. Signup confirms control of the phone number or Google/Apple account used to register. MiloJulo does not verify identity, occupation, employer, college, qualifications, character or background, and a MiloJulo account is not a credential or endorsement.
3. What MiloJulo provides
MiloJulo helps users discover and communicate with nearby people, communities and opportunities. It provides profiles, local feeds, map-based discovery, communities and messaging.
MiloJulo is not an employer, recruiter, educational institution, job-placement agency, broker, payment service or party to arrangements between users. Users are responsible for independently assessing people, claims, opportunities, meetings, payments and agreements.
4. Profiles, location and messages
You choose a Primary Area and control your map visibility. Approximate is the default and offsets the map pin within roughly a 1–2 km radius. You may choose Precise or Hidden. Do not use a false location to mislead users or bypass community rules.
Direct messages are stored on MiloJulo’s servers and are not end-to-end encrypted. MiloJulo does not send direct-message text to third-party AI or content-moderation services and does not routinely monitor or read private conversations. If a user reports a direct message, an authorised reviewer may see the reported message and limited account enforcement information needed to assess the report, not unrestricted conversation access.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of content you create. You give MiloJulo a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute and technically process that content only as needed to operate, secure, moderate and improve MiloJulo. The licence extends to service providers acting on MiloJulo’s instructions.
This licence does not allow MiloJulo to sell your content, license it to advertisers or use it in advertising. It ends when the content is deleted from active systems, except for copies already delivered to other users and information retained for safety, disputes or legal compliance.
You must have the rights and permissions needed to post content and must not violate another person’s privacy, intellectual-property rights or other legal rights.
6. Acceptable use
You must follow the Community Guidelines. In particular, you must not:
- Post or send unlawful, obscene, pornographic, exploitative, threatening, hateful, harassing, defamatory, privacy-invasive or child-harming content.
- Impersonate another person or organisation, or misrepresent age, identity, occupation, qualifications, affiliation or location.
- Harass, stalk, threaten, dox or continue contacting someone after refusal, blocking or silence.
- Offer fake jobs, internships, admissions, accommodation, investments or other opportunities; request advance fees, OTPs, UPI PINs, banking credentials or identity documents; or operate fraud, phishing, MLM, referral-chain or crypto schemes.
- Send spam, unsolicited sexual content, bulk messages or automated posts.
- Scrape MiloJulo, harvest member details, build databases of users, reverse engineer the service, introduce malicious code, bypass security controls or evade enforcement.
- Post content that infringes intellectual property, is patently false or misleading about its origin, threatens public order or the security or sovereignty of India, incites an offence, or is otherwise prohibited by law.
- Use another person’s location or information to endanger, intimidate or locate them without agreement.
7. Communities
Communities are created and organised by MiloJulo. Messages, posts, comments and replies shared in a community are visible to the relevant community members and are not private direct messages. MiloJulo may appoint moderators and administrators who can review and moderate community content, review reports, remove content, restrict features, remove members and suspend or ban accounts. Community-specific rules may apply. You may leave a community at any time.
8. Offline safety
Meeting offline is your decision. MiloJulo is designed to help nearby people connect, but MiloJulo does not screen users or supervise meetings. Any offline interaction is at your own risk.
- Meet in a public place and tell a trusted person where you are going.
- Do not share your home, PG or hostel address, OTPs, UPI PIN, banking information or identity documents.
- Use your own transport, keep control of your belongings and leave whenever you feel uncomfortable.
- Independently verify jobs, internships, projects, people and organisations. A legitimate employer should not require a candidate to pay for a job or internship.
- Report threats, harassment, fraud or unsafe conduct to MiloJulo. In an emergency, contact the appropriate public authority first.
9. Reporting and enforcement
You can report profiles, posts, comments, messages and community activity in the product or at grievance@milojulo.com. Depending on severity, context and account history, MiloJulo may remove content, issue a warning, restrict a feature, remove community access, suspend an account or permanently ban it.
MiloJulo may immediately remove or permanently ban accounts for serious conduct such as child sexual abuse material, content sexualising a minor, non-consensual intimate imagery, unsolicited sexual images, credible threats, doxxing, serious stalking, fraud or offline harm. Evidence may be preserved and matters may be referred to authorities where required or reasonably necessary.
You may appeal an enforcement decision within 30 days by replying to the decision or contacting grievance@milojulo.com. Filing false or abusive reports is itself a violation.
10. Account deletion and termination
You may delete your account in Settings or at milojulo.com/delete-account. Deletion and retention are handled as explained in the Privacy Policy. MiloJulo may restrict, suspend or terminate access where you breach these Terms, create risk, expose MiloJulo or others to legal liability, or where required by law.
Provisions that by their nature should continue—including ownership, retained-content rights, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity and dispute provisions—survive account termination.
11. MiloJulo’s intellectual property
The MiloJulo name, logo, brand, product design, software, databases and other materials created by MiloJulo are owned by MiloJulo or its licensors. These Terms do not give you permission to copy, scrape, sell, reverse engineer or commercially exploit them except where applicable law expressly permits.
12. Service availability and disclaimers
MiloJulo is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free or completely secure operation, that every harmful item will be detected, or any particular result from using MiloJulo.
To the extent permitted by law, MiloJulo gives no warranty about the identity, age, occupation, qualifications, character, intentions or conduct of a user; the accuracy of user statements; the quality or legitimacy of an opportunity; or the outcome of an online or offline interaction.
13. Liability and indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, MiloJulo is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive loss, or loss of profit, opportunity, business, goodwill or data, arising from use of the service or the acts of another user online or offline.
MiloJulo’s total liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid MiloJulo during the 12 months before the claim or ₹1,000. The service is currently free. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits rights available under applicable consumer law.
You agree to indemnify MiloJulo and its personnel against third-party claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your content, your breach of these Terms or law, or your dealings with another user, except to the extent caused by MiloJulo’s own unlawful conduct.
14. Changes, governing law and disputes
We may change MiloJulo or these Terms. Material changes will be notified through the app, website, email or another reasonable channel. Continued use after the effective date of a notified change means you accept the updated Terms, except where fresh consent is legally required.
These Terms are governed by Indian law. Please first use MiloJulo’s grievance process. Subject to rights that cannot be waived—including the right of a consumer to approach the competent consumer commission—courts in New Delhi will have jurisdiction.
If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. MiloJulo may assign these Terms as part of a merger, restructuring or transfer of the service; you may not assign your account or rights without written permission.
